The winner of 'So You Think You Can Dance' season 4 died by suicide, a fact confirmed on March 20, 2026. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office ruled his death was due to blunt force injuries.
Reports indicate the dancer was struck and killed by a train near his home in Texas. Police responded to railroad tracks in south Fort Worth in late September 2025, discovering a man who had been hit by a train. He was subsequently taken to a nearby medical facility.
The hip-hop dancer, who competed on the show in 2008 at age 18, ultimately won the title of America's Favorite Dancer. He passed away at the age of 36. His family released a statement asking for privacy and prayers.
A friend remembered him as a "very honest, real person" who won because he didn't always conform to expectations. The dancer had previously spoken about his commitment to expanding his dance horizons by taking various classes.
