Stallone Leans on Cane at Kennedy Center Honors

Sylvester Stallone, 79, was observed using a cane on the red carpet at the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors in Washington D.C., an event where he was recognized as an honoree.

Stallone has previously alluded to ongoing physical struggles stemming from injuries incurred during his extensive career in action films. He disclosed in a past interview for his reality show that he had "never recovered" from damage sustained during the filming of 'Expendables', which necessitated a spinal fusion surgery and the insertion of a metal plate in his neck.

His wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, has described his past surgeries as a "scary time" for their family, noting his desire to keep the extent of his medical history private. Stallone himself has cautioned others against performing their own stunts.
