Stallone Declares 'Demolition Man' One of His Best Films

In a recent interview, veteran actor Sylvester Stallone has declared his 1993 sci-fi action film 'Demolition Man' as one of his best movies that has aged particularly well. Stallone, who played the lead role of Detective John Spartan in the film, believes the movie's depiction of a future society that has become "gentle-ized" and non-violent is "very contemporary" and almost close to happening.

Stallone also had high praise for his co-star Wesley Snipes, who played the film's violent antagonist. The actor described Snipes as "wild" and "at the top of his game" in the role, adding that he really "dug down" to create a "very memorable character." Stallone further revealed that some of the film's biggest stunts, including a scene where his character is grabbed by a giant metal claw and another where he is cryogenically frozen, were among the most dangerous he has ever performed.

Overall, Stallone seems to have a fondness for 'Demolition Man' and believes it is one of his films that has stood the test of time, with its themes and depictions resonating even more strongly in the present day.
