Sweeney Returns for 'Housemaid' Sequel!

Sydney Sweeney will once again star as the main character in the movie adaptation of Freida McFadden's "The Housemaid's Secret." This sequel promises to build on the success of the first film, with director Paul Feig and actor Michele Morrone, who plays Enzo, also returning. McFadden's novel "The Housemaid's Secret" is the basis for this new cinematic installment.

Author Freida McFadden has expressed her desire for a potential cameo from actress Amanda Seyfried, who portrayed Nina Winchester in the first movie. While Seyfried's character is not slated to be part of the new story, McFadden hopes for a small guest appearance. The "Housemaid" franchise also includes other works like "The Housemaid's Wedding" and "The Housemaid Is Watching."
