Sydney Sweeney has addressed and debunked widespread rumors regarding cosmetic surgery. The actress stated unequivocally that she has never had any procedures done, citing a significant fear of needles as a primary reason. Sweeney clarified that any perceived facial differences are the result of a childhood wakeboarding accident that required 19 stitches.

This past injury, she explained, led to one of her eyes opening slightly more than the other. Sweeney emphasized that comparing her current appearance with professional makeup and lighting to childhood photos is misleading. She dismissed social media speculation as "insane."

Her co-star, Amanda Seyfried, initially suggested that cosmetic procedures could be beneficial with age, but Sweeney deflected, choosing instead to share the real reason behind her facial features. Seyfried acknowledged that while cosmetic work can be an art, it is not something Sweeney requires.
