More than 1,000 acts are slated to perform during the seven-night music program across Austin's venues. The festival will also feature a robust conference component, with new keynotes and featured sessions announced for its Innovation, Music, and Film & TV Conferences. Prominent guest speakers will include Serena Williams, Jane Fonda, Bob Odenkirk, and Phil Schiller, an Apple veteran joining a session on the company's first 50 years.
This year's SXSW is condensed to March 12-18 due to renovations at the Austin Convention Center, making the overall event two days shorter than the previous year.
