Rock pioneer Suzi Quatro, now 75, has released her new 13-track album titled "Freedom." The Detroit-born artist, who has lived in England since 1971, aims to celebrate the concept of freedom with this latest work, expressing that "At 75, if I haven't got freedom, I've got nothing." The album, released on March 27th, is described as a return to Quatro's signature "original vibe."
Quatro, who became a major rock star as one of the first prominent female bass players, wrote much of the album in her garden studio near Chelmsford, Essex. She shared her contentment with her life and career, stating, "I'm comfortable in my own skin, I'm 75 and happy to be exactly who I am." Having been in the music industry for 62 years, Quatro has achieved global success, selling 55 million records and securing number one hits.
