Susan Olsen Recalls Comedy Icon Coca's Stage Magic

Susan Olsen, renowned for her role as Cindy Brady on the classic sitcom, recently reflected on her experiences with comedy legend Imogene Coca. Olsen expressed fascination with Coca's remarkable stage presence, noting how the actress transformed from shy and hesitant during rehearsals to commanding once the cameras rolled.

Coca appeared as Aunt Jenny in the 1972 "Jan's Aunt Jenny" episode of The Brady Bunch, a role that highlighted the show's signature life lessons. Olsen, around 10 years old at the time, worked alongside Coca, who was already a celebrated figure in television.

Imogene Coca's illustrious career included a significant role in the 1950s series "Your Show of Shows." She earned an Emmy Award for Best Actress in 1952 and was posthumously celebrated for her contributions to comedy. Coca passed away on June 2, 2001, at the age of 92.
