The 50th season premiere of Survivor captivated audiences, drawing 5.06 million viewers over its three-hour broadcast. This performance represented the largest same-day viewership for the long-running reality competition since the penultimate episode of its 45th season in December 2023.
CBS experienced its most successful Wednesday night in viewership since the May 2022 finale of Survivor season 42. The premiere also secured a 0.95 rating among adults 18-49 and a 1.22 rating among adults 25-54, leading primetime viewership.
Meanwhile, ABC's revival of the comedy Scrubs also made a notable return. The first of its two premiere episodes drew 4.41 million viewers and a 0.66 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This rating stands as the best same-day performance for any network comedy in its regular time slot this season. The second episode averaged 3.52 million viewers and a 0.55 rating in the same demographic.
