Actor-director RJ Balaji has officially announced that Suriya's upcoming film, tentatively titled 'Karuppu', has completed production and is ready for its theatrical debut.
Balaji stated that the film's release will take place after the State Assembly elections conclude this summer. He expressed his intention to avoid building excessive anticipation to ensure audiences can enjoy the movie without undue pressure, emphasizing that the film has shaped up well and is suitable for family viewing.
The movie features Trisha as the female lead and includes a supporting cast such as Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Yogi Babu, and Natty. The technical crew includes Sai Abhyankkar for music, GK Vishnu for cinematography, and R Kalaivanan for editing. Vikram Mor has handled the action sequences, with Arun Venjaramoodu as the art director.
The teaser, released previously, showcased Suriya as a lawyer named Saravanan, also known as Karuppu, hinting at a commercial entertainer with significant action components.
