Suriya's Karuppu Races to Top 10 Tamil Grossers!

Suriya's fantasy action drama, Karuppu, is achieving significant box office success, currently standing just 10 crore away from entering the list of top 10 highest-grossing Tamil films domestically.

The film concluded its second week in theaters on a strong note, particularly benefiting from the recent Eid holiday. On day 14, Karuppu earned 4.95 crore net in India (across Tamil and Telugu versions), marking a notable improvement from the previous day.

This impressive run has brought the cumulative net collection in India to an outstanding 168.15 crore. Karuppu is now focused on surpassing the domestic lifetime earnings of Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu (178.14 crore) to secure its place in the top 10.

Reportedly produced with a budget of 130 crore, Karuppu has generated returns of 38.15 crore within its first two weeks. This translates to a return on investment of 29.34%, leading to a positive verdict at the Indian box office.
