The All India Suriya Fans Club has officially denied any political aspirations for actor Suriya. This clarification was issued on Monday, addressing recent speculation fueled by comments from R Veeramani, a former member. Veeramani's remarks at a state-district administrators' meeting had suggested a potential future role for Suriya as a "people's leader," sparking widespread discussion on social media.

The fans club emphasized that Veeramani's statements were his personal opinion and not representative of the organization's official stance. They further noted that Veeramani has not been involved in the club's administration for the past three years. The club urged the public to disregard rumors and rely solely on official announcements.

Reiterating Suriya's commitment, the statement confirmed his lack of interest in politics. The actor derives great satisfaction from continuing social service for the people through the Agaram Foundation and his various welfare initiatives.
