Suri Cruise Drops Dad's Last Name

Suri Cruise, the 20-year-old daughter of actors Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, has legally dropped her father's last name. Records indicate she has changed her surname to Noelle, which is also Holmes' middle name. This change was made in conjunction with her voter registration in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where she is attending Carnegie Mellon University. The name Suri Noelle was also used for her high school graduation in June 2024. This period coincided with Tom Cruise attending Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in London. In the past, Katie Holmes has publicly addressed and denied false reports suggesting Suri received a trust fund from Cruise upon turning 18. Holmes has expressed pride in her daughter's academic pursuits and beginnings, while also noting she will miss their close proximity. Suri has largely remained out of the public eye but was recently photographed with her mother in New York City.
