Gabru: Sunny Deol's emotional 2027 release revealed

Producer Vishal Rana has announced that Sunny Deol's film 'Gabru' is being eyed for a 2027 release. Rana emphasizes that this project is particularly close to Deol's heart, suggesting a departure from his typical action roles. He stated that audiences have not seen Deol like this before, hinting at an emotional performance.

Deol's family has reportedly viewed 'Gabru' and confirmed it's a unique portrayal. The film is being positioned as an ode to real-life heroes, aiming to connect with both Deol's established fanbase and aspiring individuals. An official release date announcement is expected soon, following the release of Deol's other film, 'Soorya,' next month.

Additionally, Rana's production slate includes 'Gulabi,' starring Huma Qureshi, which is also ready. This film, focusing on a female rickshaw driver, is described as a women-empowering story with numerous twists. Rana noted the challenge of finding an optimal release window for films amidst a crowded market.
