Suniel Shetty Revives Iconic 'Yeda Anna' Character in Upcoming Comedy

In November 2025, Bollywood fans are in for a treat as Suniel Shetty is set to revive his popular 'Yeda Anna' character in the upcoming film 'Welcome To The Jungle'. The movie, currently in production, will see Shetty reunite with his longtime co-star Akshay Kumar, with Arshad Warsi also joining the cast.

According to director Ahmad Khan, Shetty will reprise the 'Yeda Anna' role with a twist, aiming to recapture the humour and camaraderie that fans have enjoyed in the actors' previous collaborations. Khan emphasizes the strong on-screen chemistry between Shetty, Kumar, and Warsi, stating that their banter and timing will be a key highlight of the film.

Shetty, who has been a regular in Nadiadwala productions, was initially hesitant about doing another comedy film. However, he was convinced by the director's vision for the character and is now fully committed to the project. In addition to his acting, the veteran actor will also feature in three large-scale musical numbers, showcasing his enduring dance skills.

The ensemble cast of 'Welcome To The Jungle' also includes Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, and Lara Dutta. The film is expected to wrap up production in January 2026, with a mid-2026 release date targeted.
