The Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage concert series is set to celebrate its momentous 40th anniversary in 2026. Announced on April 28, the lineup features a diverse array of celebrated artists, including Mavis Staples, De La Soul, Spoon, Laurie Anderson, and Angélique Kidjo. Additional performers will include Bilal, MIKE's Young World with Max B, and WayV, among many others.
Primarily hosted at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, SummerStage will also bring performances to other New York City parks. Locations include Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, Tompkins Square Park in the East Village, Herbert Von King Park in Brooklyn, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, and Crotona Park in the Bronx. Staten Island dates are also planned, with a venue to be confirmed. The anniversary theme, 'honor the past and future,' will be highlighted through special events and digital content.
