Strictly Hosts: Claudia & Tess Swap Seats for Viewing Party
18 Apr
Summary
- Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will watch Strictly together.
- Alison Hammond expresses strong desire to host Strictly Come Dancing.
- Bradley Walsh faces dilemma between Strictly and Gladiators.
Claudia Winkleman has revealed she and co-host Tess Daly plan to watch the upcoming Strictly Come Dancing launch together. The pair, who stepped away from hosting duties last year, will reportedly enjoy jacket potatoes and a "nightie" while supporting the show.
This development comes as speculation about their replacements intensifies. Alison Hammond, a strong contender, has clarified her previous reluctance, now stating she would be "absolutely crazy" to refuse the hosting position and playfully admitted she was trying to "back them off" to improve her chances.
Meanwhile, Bradley Walsh has emerged as another frontrunner. However, reports suggest filming for his show, The Chase, may be halted for at least a year. This presents a potential conflict with his role on Gladiators, another popular Saturday night program, which could force him to choose between the two commitments.
