Streetsboro Pizza Spot Lands on National TV Show

Blasiole's Pizza, a Streetsboro eatery, will soon be featured on the "America's Best Restaurants Roadshow." A film crew recently visited the establishment, where owner Jack D'Amato served a selection of popular dishes chosen by customers. The menu included barbecue chicken pizza, zesty Italian pepperoni pizza, stromboli, wings, fried chicken, and jojo potatoes, highlighting Northeast Ohio's distinct culinary flair.

The "America's Best Restaurants" show was launched post-COVID-19 to support struggling small businesses. Restaurants are selected based on customer reviews, unique menu items, social media activity, and community engagement. Blasiole's Pizza, founded in 1992 and purchased by D'Amato in 2023, garnered numerous nominations.

D'Amato has significantly enhanced the restaurant's social media presence since early 2024, posting daily content. The pizzeria also produces a monthly podcast featuring local figures and hosts "dine to donate" events benefiting charities. Despite nearby construction impacting deliveries, D'Amato remains optimistic about the business.

The featured episode is slated to broadcast in approximately two months across ABR's YouTube channel, website, and Facebook pages, as well as Blasiole's own social media. Restaurants have the flexibility to choose their air date, often aligning it with local community events.
