At the premiere of the new season, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, shared that her character would likely be blasting Beyoncé's "American Requiem" or "YA YA" to get pumped up. Finn Wolfhard, who portrays the metal-loving Eddie, suggested his character would be listening to Metallica. Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp, who plays the indie-leaning Will Byers, opted for the classic "Forever Young" as his character's go-to song.
Other cast members, such as Gaten Matarazzo and Priah Ferguson, also chimed in with their character's musical preferences. Matarazzo proposed the entire Beyoncé "Renaissance" album, while Ferguson suggested Whitney Houston's "I Believe the Children Are the Future."
