Stevie Nicks Celebrates Bella Donna Era with New Barbie Doll

In October 2025, legendary Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, 77, is celebrating the release of a new Barbie doll inspired by her 1981 solo album Bella Donna. This comes after the success of her first Barbie Signature doll, which sold out twice and was based on the cover of Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album Rumours.

Nicks is thrilled by the new Bella Donna Barbie, which she says is "almost like you almost kind of had to do that" after the popularity of the Rumours-era doll. She sees the two dolls as a "story of my whole musical life" and a "huge part" of what she will leave behind as her legacy.

The new Bella Donna Barbie doll captures Nicks' transition from her free-spirited 1970s style to the early-80s glamour of her solo career. Nicks keeps the dolls by her side as she works on a forthcoming album, describing them as "alive" and "amazing puppets that come to life" for her. She even plans to publish a book of photographs featuring the dolls.

Nicks believes the Barbies are an integral part of her musical journey, saying "If I have a legacy, if I have 'What do I leave behind that is sacred?' I think that it'd be Barbie." As she returns to the stage for her fall tour, the rock icon is excited to share her new music, Fleetwood Mac classics, and Bella Donna hits with fans.
