Stephen King Approves 'The Institute' Adaptation

Stephen King has publicly endorsed "The Institute," the MGM+ television adaptation of his novel. The series chronicles the story of children possessing telekinetic powers who are subsequently exploited by a covert governmental entity.

King, who is also an executive producer on the show, has indicated his contentment with the creative liberties taken by showrunners Benjamin Cavell and Jack Bender. He acknowledged that while books are a solitary creation, television series are a team effort, and some adaptations can significantly enhance the original narrative.
