His journey into ministry began after a prophecy suggested he and his wife would become evangelical Christians. This led him to dedicate decades to a skateboarding youth outreach, touring extensively with the ministry. Baldwin, father to Hailey Bieber and Alaia Baldwin, also shared his past critiques of Hollywood, including feeling "castrated comedically" and losing jobs due to creative differences.
