Stephanie Pratt Slams Spencer's LA Mayoral Bid

Stephanie Pratt has voiced strong opposition to her brother Spencer Pratt's campaign for Los Angeles mayor, asserting his true motives are rooted in seeking fame rather than serving the public. She publicly stated that a vote for Spencer would be "a vote for stupidity," questioning his experience and qualifications for the demanding role.

Spencer Pratt, who previously lost his Pacific Palisades home in the LA wildfires, launched his mayoral campaign last month. He contends that while he may appear isolated in his public stance, numerous A-list celebrities privately support his criticisms of current leadership and his campaign. However, these individuals reportedly fear career repercussions if they were to offer their endorsement publicly.

Stephanie elaborated on her concerns, referencing a past incident where Spencer allegedly physically assaulted her. She believes he is not fit for government, stating, "Leopards never change their spots." While acknowledging Spencer's past community work, she insisted that Los Angeles requires more capable leadership to address its pressing issues.

Pratt explained that the simultaneous release of his memoir and his mayoral candidacy were divinely timed. He felt compelled to run after observing a lack of challengers to incumbent Mayor Karen Bass. He compared the fear of speaking out against political issues to that of firefighters who face retaliation for reporting truths.
