Stavros Halkias is set to join the cast of an untitled comedy film about a country western star in free fall. The film is being directed by Judd Apatow, who also co-wrote the script with the star, Glen Powell. Halkias will portray the role of Powell's character's agent.
This new comedy is scheduled for release on February 5, 2027, distributed by Universal Pictures. Halkias joins previously confirmed cast members Cristin Milioti and Madelyn Cline, adding to the ensemble's growing talent.
Judd Apatow is producing the project through his Apatow Productions banner. Glen Powell is also producing via his Barnstorm company. Kevin Misher of Misher Films is also attached as a producer.
Halkias, known for his podcast 'Cum Town' and his Netflix special 'Fat Rascal', has a growing filmography that includes 'Let's Start a Cult' and Steven Soderbergh's series 'Command Z'. He is also slated to appear in the A24 biopic 'Tony'.
