Muldoon recalled having to lift the heavy Casper Van Dien during a fight scene, which took a whopping 62 takes to get right. "It was about take 59 that I slipped and I dropped Casper," he said. Van Dien then shared that Muldoon overcompensated on the next take, causing him to fall off the table and land on his back.
The cast also discussed the infamous shower scene, with Meyer explaining that director Paul Verhoeven had to "flash" the actors to get them comfortable with being nude on set. Van Dien and Jake Busey, however, had a different kind of "surprise" during that scene, with Van Dien admitting, "It wasn't a 'little' surprise."
