Sylvester Stallone has opened up about significant personal challenges, including bulimia and steroid abuse, which he experienced during the peak of his career. These disclosures come shortly before the release of his memoir, 'The Steps,' scheduled for September 29, 2026. Stallone detailed his obsession with achieving a specific physique, which led to disordered eating habits and the use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Separately, actress Pamela Anderson has brought renewed attention to a past interaction with Stallone. She alleged in her documentary that he offered her a Porsche and a condo to be his 'No. 1 girl.' Anderson expressed her reservations at the time, questioning the implication of a 'No. 2 girl.' While she desired a genuine romance, Stallone's representative has issued a statement denying the alleged offer, calling it false and fabricated.

Anderson, however, has maintained her account, asserting the specificity of the offer makes it unlikely she would invent such a story. During a television appearance, she humorously suggested a different car might have swayed her, but reiterated her original stance. Stallone married Jennifer Flavin in 1997, and Anderson has had her own past relationships.
