However, close examination reveals inconsistencies such as lip-sync issues and outfit changes within the short duration of the video. Furthermore, an AI disclaimer is visible at the bottom of the clip.

Analysis using AI detection tools strongly suggests the video is a product of generative AI. Specifically, audio detection tools indicate a high probability, between 90.2 and 100 percent, that the audio was AI-generated. This corroborates the visual evidence of manipulation.

The footage used for the fake announcement was taken from an authentic Instagram post by Stallone on March 9, 2026. In this original video, Stallone discussed producing a prequel to the Rambo franchise.
