Stage Tour, poised to revive the rhythm game genre, is slated for release on December 10 across multiple platforms. Prolific peripheral manufacturer CRKD is launching three new Gibson guitar controllers to accompany the game. These controllers, part of the Stage Tour Pro Guitar Collection, include reimagined Gibson Les Paul, SG, and Explorer models.
The new controllers feature advanced technology such as Hall effect click strum bars, mechanical frets, and LED neck lighting. They offer ultra-low latency with high polling rates, with the Les Paul and SG models supporting 500Hz wireless and 1,000Hz wired connections, while the Explorer boasts an 8,000Hz polling rate. These peripherals are designed in collaboration with RedOctane Games.
The Gibson SG Midnight Blue Edition, an officially licensed PlayStation product, is compatible with PS4, PS5, and PC, priced at $130. The Les Paul comes in an Xbox-compatible version ($130) for Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC, and a multiplatform version ($120) for Android, PC, and Switch. The Explorer, priced at $130, is compatible with PC, Android, and Switch, with shipping expected in mid-January. Other accessories like a drum kit and microphone are also available.
