Actor V Ravichandran to Launch Historic Srirangapatna Dasara

The historic 416th Srirangapatna Dasara is set to be inaugurated on October 15 by Kannada actor V Ravichandran. This traditional festival, a testament to Srirangapatna's rich cultural heritage, will proceed as usual despite current drought conditions, with no reduction in its scale.
The celebrations will span from October 15 to October 18. Prior to the main Dasara festivities, a two-day Yuva Sambhrama will be held on October 12 and 13, offering a platform for local youth to exhibit their talents in a manner similar to the Mysuru Dasara event.
Additionally, the Cauvery Aarti, a program introduced at the Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) reservoir last year, will be conducted for six days beginning October 11. The chief minister is expected to inaugurate this event, which plays a vital role in preserving Karnataka's cultural heritage.
The official logo for the 416th Srirangapatna Dasara was unveiled, featuring a golden gopuram of the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, the event's ordinal number, and an elephant with a howdah, embellished with traditional motifs.
