Halloween Comics Unleash Dark Superheroes & Monsters

This Halloween season, a wave of new comic books and graphic novels brings creatures of the dark and reimagined superheroes to readers. Marvel Entertainment is launching its Midnight Marvel horror line with three new titles: Midnight Fantastic Four, Midnight Spider-Man, and Midnight X-Men, offering bleaker narratives for these familiar characters. Comic enthusiasts can also delve into the origin story of the Bride of Frankenstein in a new series, and explore Dracula's reign of terror in Victorian London.

Beyond Marvel, new releases cater to various tastes. The graphic novel 'Haunted Comic Club' follows two young friends investigating a ghost, while 'Bleeding Hearts, Vol. 1: Out-Break' introduces a sympathetic zombie named Poke. VIZ Media is also bringing Japan's 'Horror Picture Book' series to the United States, featuring eerie tales for younger readers. These diverse offerings promise a ghoulishly good time for comic fans.
