23 Apr
Summary
- Mark Ruffalo confirms Spider-Man will fight an alien.
- Speculation points to a potential Venom crossover.
- Spider-Man's next movie is slated for July 2026.
Mark Ruffalo has directly indicated that Spider-Man is set to face an extraterrestrial adversary in a future film. The actor's assurance has ignited considerable fan discussion, with many anticipating a confrontation between Spider-Man and the popular character Venom. This speculation is further supported by brief teases of a potential crossover seen in the post-credit scenes of 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' and 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'.
While official confirmation of a Spider-Man and Venom showdown remains absent, rumors are circulating, especially concerning the upcoming fourth Spider-Man installment. This next movie, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', is anticipated in July 2026. It is worth noting that Spider-Man has a history of battling alien threats, as seen in previous Avengers films. However, this new hint opens the door for a direct encounter with a symbiote.
