Spider-Man Swings to Fourth Week at UK Box Office Top

As of August 25, 2026, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" continues its reign atop the U.K. and Ireland box office, marking its fourth consecutive week at number one. The superhero film added another £3.6 million to its impressive run, pushing its cumulative gross to $117.9 million.

Universal's "The Odyssey" remains a strong contender, holding the second position in its sixth week with $3.7 million. This brings its total earnings to over $101.4 million locally. The horror sequel "Insidious: Out of the Further" debuted impressively in third place, earning $2.9 million.

Other notable openings include Black Bear's comedy "Spa Weekend" at fifth place with $668,191, and Studiocanal's action thriller "Mutiny" at ninth with $504,397. Mastershot Studios' Malayalam film "Bethlehem Kudumba Unit" secured seventh place with $593,485.

Jane Schoenbrun's "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" achieved a significant theatrical start, debuting at No. 11 with $306,438 from Friday to Sunday. The film's performance surpassed the entire lifetime gross of Schoenbrun's previous film, "I Saw the TV Glow," within its opening weekend alone.
