Spice Girls Reunion Tour & Docuseries Future Uncertain

Singer Mel B has disclosed that a planned Netflix documentary focusing on the Spice Girls is no longer proceeding. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, she expressed her disappointment, stating that the project is not moving forward as anticipated. Additionally, Mel B indicated that preliminary discussions for a potential 30th-anniversary reunion tour next year have also stalled.

When questioned about the documentary's cancellation, Mel B offered a cryptic response but later suggested that not all members are aligned on being completely honest about their experiences. She expressed hope for future Spice Girls reunions, emphasizing her consistent support for them, but acknowledged that individual members have their own lives and priorities. Mel B recently informed Hello! magazine that while the band members have considered the docuseries, it must be done truthfully, and not everyone is willing to be honest. She also directly stated that a reunion tour for the 30th anniversary of their hit 'Wannabe' is not happening, and it would be a surprise if it did, implying that age and differing desires among members have made such plans difficult to orchestrate.
