Spencer Pratt's bid for Los Angeles mayor has reignited a public feud with his sister, Stephanie Pratt. Spencer, appearing on the 'We Need to Talk' podcast on January 27, 2026, described their strained relationship, referencing a heated argument from season 6 of 'The Hills.' He attributed his outburst to unresolved family issues and past grievances, even alleging that Stephanie had assaulted him when they were younger, leading to hospitalization. He expressed regret over her involvement in the show.

Stephanie, who now resides in London, reflected on their childhood in Malibu and Pacific Palisades, describing it as idyllic. However, she noted Spencer's perceived ease in life contrasted with her struggles with mental health and substance abuse. Despite past rifts, Stephanie had previously supported Spencer and Heidi Montag, even offering to officiate their 2008 wedding.

Their relationship dynamics shifted dramatically over the years. By 2019, Stephanie publicly distanced herself from Spencer and Heidi, calling them "the most toxic people." However, filming 'The Hills: New Beginnings' (June 2019-August 2021) reportedly helped mend their bond.
