Summary
- Fifteen celebrities, including George Santos, will compete.
- Challenges are inspired by real U.S. Special Forces selection.
- Filming took place in Malaysia's rugged jungle terrain.

The fifth season of "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" is set to premiere on September 24. This season features a cast of 15 celebrities, including television personalities like Candace Cameron Bure and Oliver Hudson, along with former U.S. Rep. George Santos.
Inspired by the rigorous U.S. Special Forces selection process, the show places celebrity recruits through demanding physical and mental challenges. These exercises are conducted in extreme environments, specifically the rugged jungle terrain of Malaysia, where the show was filmed for its fifth installment.
Unlike typical reality competitions, "Special Forces" does not involve voting or traditional eliminations. Contestants can only leave the competition by withdrawing voluntarily, being medically unable to continue, or being removed by the directing staff. Previous seasons' participants have described the experience as transformative and intensely difficult.
Episodes of season 5 will be available to stream on Hulu the day after their broadcast on Fox. Viewers can catch up on the first four seasons of the series on Disney+ or Hulu.
