Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp, a 64-year-old musician and actor known for his role as Steve Owen in EastEnders, is preparing to swap his comfortable home life for the wilds of the Australian jungle. Kemp will be joining the cast of the upcoming season of ITV's reality show I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
Before jetting off to Australia, Kemp shared a touching video montage featuring vintage clips of his wife Shirlie and their two children, Harley Moon and Roman Kemp. The emotional footage showcases adorable moments from when his children were young, as well as a younger, brunette-haired Kemp. The video, which explores themes of life and death, has moved many of Kemp's fans to tears, including his own daughter.
Kemp and Shirlie, a former backing vocalist for Wham! and one half of pop duo Pepsi and Shirlie, have been happily married since 1998. The siblings recently made their first appearance on Celebrity Race Across the World, where they revealed they don't often hang out together.
