Tems is the sole artist to receive nominations in both fan-voted categories, notably for her hit song "What You Need." The R&B/soul song of the year award celebrates tracks made available between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026, with 10 nominees. The international artist category highlights global R&B talent, with seven nominees selected for their cultural relevance and impact.
The winners, along with all other category recipients, will be announced on November 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The ceremony will be broadcast on BET and simulcast across CBS, BET Her, VH1, MTV2, and LOGO. Additionally, fans can vote for The 20 Greatest R&B Songs of the 2020s until October 16.
