- Jiah Khan's death case impacted his personal and professional life
- Recently appeared in historical drama 'Kesari Veer'

In October 2025, Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi addressed ongoing rumors that he had quit the film industry. Pancholi, who made his debut in 2015 alongside Athiya Shetty in the romantic action film 'Hero', took to Instagram to clarify that the reports were not true.
Pancholi's personal and professional life took a major hit in 2013 after actress Jiah Khan was found dead at her home. The Mumbai Police had booked Pancholi under section 306 for abetment to suicide, as he was allegedly in a relationship with Jiah at the time. The case continued for several years, affecting his public image and film opportunities. However, after a long legal battle, Pancholi was acquitted from the case in 2023.
Despite the setbacks, Pancholi has continued to work in the industry. He was recently seen in the historical drama 'Kesari Veer', which released in May 2025. The film, which also starred Suniel Shetty, Akanksha Sharma, and Vivek Oberoi, received a mixed response and could not make a lasting impact at the box office. Nonetheless, Pancholi remains committed to his acting career and has refuted the rumors of quitting Bollywood.
