Sooraj Barjatya, celebrated for his deeply traditional family films, is venturing into new territory with his latest production. His directorial efforts have historically been immensely successful, with previous films generating over Rs 120 crore against a mere Rs 16 crore expenditure, significantly influencing Bollywood's landscape.

For his most expensive film to date, costing Rs 25 crore, Barjatya has embraced a contemporary aesthetic. This includes action sequences such as bungee-jumping and scuba-diving, a stark departure from his signature style of lavish weddings and family rituals. The film also features a new cast, with Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan stepping in for Salman Khan, who had previously starred in Barjatya's iconic Prem roles.
