Sonic Pico Park: Chaos, Cooperation Ensues

A new cooperative puzzle game, Sonic Pico Park, has emerged as a spin-off featuring the popular Blue Blur and his friends. This title draws inspiration from the accessible cooperative action-puzzle game, Pico Park, known for its minimalist design and emphasis on teamwork. Sonic Pico Park integrates familiar Sonic elements, such as Sonic's spin dash and Tails' flight, into its cooperative challenges.

During a recent demo, players experienced the game's reliance on communication, with characters needing to stack, assist each other over obstacles, and strategize to progress. The gameplay mechanic of collecting rings to avoid death is also reminiscent of classic Sonic titles. Sonic Pico Park is slated for release on Steam, with Sega confirming that more platforms will be announced in the future.
