Yash Chopra Laughed as Sonam Khan Ate Snow on Set

Sonam Khan, during the shooting of her inaugural Bollywood film 'Vijay,' shared a nostalgic anecdote from her first journey outside India to Switzerland.

Witnessing snow for the very first time, Khan indulged in eating it like a child, a moment that elicited hearty laughter from the renowned filmmaker Yash Chopra. This unusual behavior led him to observe the childlike wonder in her, as Khan herself humorously noted.

The production faced a significant challenge when Khan's luggage, which contained her costumes designed by Bhanu Athaiya for a song sequence, went missing. This unexpected loss caused Khan to cry, as she had no attire for the shoot.

Consequently, Khan had to purchase her clothing from the local market in Gstaad. Given that it was summertime, only minimal summer wear was available, leading her to wear a swimming costume topped with a short skirt for the song. Despite the lost baggage and her perceived lack of dancing prowess, Khan expressed that she thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
