Sonakshi Sinha, the acclaimed Bollywood actress, is poised to make her highly anticipated debut in Telugu cinema with the upcoming supernatural drama Jatadhara. Set to release in theaters nationwide on November 7, 2025, the film presents the actress in a strikingly different avatar as Dhanapisachini, a formidable and mysterious character at the center of a battle between light and darkness.

After over a decade of impactful performances in Hindi films and web projects, Sonakshi is now exploring a new side of her acting prowess. Directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan, Jatadhara is described as a supernatural action-drama rooted in mythology and folklore. The story revolves around a man who must confront the return of the demon goddess of greed, leading to a larger battle between good and evil.
