Sonakshi Sinha Backs Wangchuk's Peaceful Protest

Actress Sonakshi Sinha has voiced strong support for environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk, criticizing his recent transfer to Safdarjung Hospital following his removal from the protest site at Jantar Mantar. Sinha shared a video expressing concern, stating that Wangchuk's relocation was inappropriate, though she was relieved he was safe and with his wife.

She commended Wangchuk and the thousands of supporters for conducting their demonstration with calmness, respect, and non-violence. Sinha highlighted the resilience of the youth involved, emphasizing that peaceful demonstrations amplify a movement's message more effectively than hostility. She urged protestors to maintain peace, unity, and respect during their planned march.

Sinha appealed for constructive dialogue to commence soon, emphasizing that every citizen has a constitutional right to question those in power. She concluded by standing with the youth, students, the Constitution, and the country, expressing hope that voices would be heard with dignity and that dialogue doors would open by July 20.
