'Primitive War' takes viewers on a heart-pounding journey to the jungles of Vietnam in 1968. A recon unit, led by a talented cast including Ryan Kwanten, Jeremy Piven, Tricia Helfer, and Nick Wechsler, ventures deep into the isolated jungle valley to uncover the fate of a missing platoon. However, their mission takes an unexpected turn as they find themselves fighting for survival against a formidable and unexpected enemy: prehistoric dinosaurs.
The film, written and directed by Luke Sparke, is based on the 2017 sci-fi military novel series of the same name by Ethan Pettus. Signature's Acquisitions & Development Executive Max Hart expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating that 'Primitive War' is a "rare gem" that sets a new standard for independent sci-fi action.
With its thrilling premise, talented cast, and the unique blend of military action and prehistoric elements, 'Primitive War' is poised to captivate audiences in the UK and Ireland later this year.
