Actress Soha Ali Khan recently offered a touching look into her family's Ganesh Chaturthi observance.
She shared a video showcasing how she and her daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, created and celebrated an eco-friendly Ganpati idol at their home. The footage captured Inaaya actively participating in making a small clay idol, with her father, Kunal Kemmu, also assisting.
The family's commitment to sustainability was evident during the immersion ritual. Instead of using natural water bodies, they submerged the idol in a water-filled tub at home, adorned with flowers. This practice allowed the dissolved clay to be used for watering plants.
Soha Ali Khan expressed the sentiment behind the celebration, stating, "From our hands to our home, and from our home back to the earth." The couple, Soha and Kunal, are known for raising their daughter in a multicultural household, embracing traditions from both their Hindu and Muslim backgrounds.
