Basil Joseph, once a software engineer, pursued his cinematic aspirations beyond the confines of IT cubicles. His journey into filmmaking began when he created a short film titled 'Priyamvadha Katharayano' and shared it online, tagging filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan. Initially, Vineeth did not see the film, but actor Aju Varghese discovered it on Facebook and praised Basil's work, calling it 'great.'
Aju Varghese then brought the short film to Vineeth Sreenivasan's attention. Vineeth was impressed and, upon Basil expressing interest in becoming an assistant director, responded cautiously. Several months later, Vineeth unexpectedly contacted Basil via Facebook Messenger, asking if he was still interested in assisting him. This message marked a pivotal moment, leading to a meeting in Chennai where Basil was officially invited to join Vineeth's film project.
