Soccer Mommy Looks to Stars for Hope in New Song

Soccer Mommy, the musical endeavor of Sophie Allison, has unveiled "Rings of Saturn," her inaugural release in two years. This introspective track, produced by Elliott Kozel, is set against a backdrop of a dreamy visual. Allison shared that the song emerged during a period of personal difficulty, where she found a sense of perspective by observing the moon and planets through a telescope. This act of contemplating her smallness provided a form of relief.

Her most recent album, "Evergreen," was released in 2024, followed by an acoustic rendition titled "Evergreen (Stripped)" last year. Fans can anticipate a co-headlining tour with Snail Mail, commencing on September 30 in Charlotte. Previously, Allison supported Liz Phair and Sleater-Kinney on their "Flannel and the Fury Tour."
