Codi was born prematurely in late February 2025, being three months early. Her birth followed a high-risk pregnancy for Broadus, who had previously experienced a stroke at the start of 2024 and has managed lupus since childhood.
The infant spent several months in the NICU before returning home on January 6, 2026. Tragically, Codi died just three weeks later. Her father, photographer Wayne Duece, also shared his grief, posting a loving tribute to his daughter.
Broadus, 26, is the youngest of Snoop Dogg's three daughters. The family is devastated by the loss of their "sweet little firecracker," as Codi was described by her mother.
