Summary
- Shakespeare sketch reimagines Bard as a Gen-Z hipster on ketamine.
- Paddington Bear immersive experience features a runaway, angry bear.
- Studiocanal previously sued over Paddington's drug-taking depiction.

A recent episode of "SNL U.K." featured a parody of the film "Hamnet," presenting a modernized William Shakespeare as a "Gen-Z hipster" returning to his family after a stint in London. This sketch humorously depicted the Bard with modern sensibilities, even referencing ketamine use.
The comedy show also satirized a Paddington Bear immersive experience. In this skit, an actual bear was unleashed upon unsuspecting guests, leading to chaotic and comedic consequences. One organizer humorously noted the potential for extreme guest attrition.
This portrayal of the beloved bear comes after Studiocanal, which manages Paddington's rights, took legal action against "Spitting Image" for depicting the character in a drug-taking, foul-mouthed manner. The studio operates its own Paddington experience in London.
