The Smashing Pumpkins have unveiled extensive plans for their upcoming fall tour, dubbed 'The Rats in a Cage Tour.' This extensive run of concerts is set to celebrate significant milestones in the band's career.
Each performance will feature two unique sets. These sets are specifically designed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the band's seminal album, 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.' Audiences can also expect renditions of other popular and lesser-known tracks from their catalog.
This tour also introduces Kiki Wong as the band's new guitarist. Wong was selected through an open application process, filling the vacancy left by longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder earlier in 2026. The band previously released their album 'Aghori Mhori Mei' in 2026.
